Is It Time To Exit The Stock Market?

Stock Market Crash 2021

I had the best two years I've ever had trading the Stock Market. However, all good things must come to end. I have a defined system with a clear edge, that I have worked on and perfected (that is proprietary). If nothing shows up on my scans, I do not force a trade.

Interestingly, enough I've observed over the years when my watch list dries out it's a warning for the Stock market, so I've learned not to force anything. As I currently hold Lucid Motors ($LCID), Virgin Galatic ($SPCE) FuboTV ($FUBO), and Greenwich LifeSciences ($GLSI). I plan to hold them until they hit my price target. After that, it's time for me to withdraw my money from the Stock Market, perhaps for a very long hiatus. While I patiently wait on the sidelines until stocks start showing up on my scan lists again.

Simply, put Earnings in the last few quarters have not been great. Stocks look tired, good earnings are sold off. Everything was priced in as the Stock Market anticipated the removal of lockdown. There haven't been any parabolic charts in the last few quarters either. The easy money is gone. I will wait on the sideline, as the market makes new highs thanks to FAANG stocks (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, and Google). Take a look at the S&P 500 chart below, it is the weekly view, where you can see since the lows of 2020, the index has appreciated over a 100%. That is not sustainable long-term. Keep in mind, the Market doesn't always have to pull back, it can just chop sideways for years.

I currently sit at a 96% win rate that I don't plan on ruining. I will keep you guys posted mostly on Twitter if I decide to make any changes, or if I see an amazing setup I will definitely post here.

Just a reminder, no, I will not sell my current stocks, I have faith they will pop as mentioned and discussed in this post. I do not trade options, so I have the time. Even if I think there is a pullback from the stock market it will rebound, as it always does (not all stocks will recover, however).
